This porcelain skinned aristocrat is amazingly graceful and slender in her tight bodice dress with pure white ruffled collar. The determined pose, cocky placement of the hat and ruby lips create an image of poise and purpose. The spaniels\' adoring gaze hint at a softer side to this aloof creature.
Made in England, a RARE Royal Doulton figurine. I bought this directly from the factory, shortly before it closed, as the original prototype created before actual production, that\'s why it isn\'t numbered. Limited edition. I understood there were only 2 prototypes made.
This stunning figurine was designed by P. Parsons and issued in 2001 in a limited edition of only 2500, she is one of the four figurines in the Stuart Queens series.

Anne ( 12th December 1574 - 2nd March 1619 ) was the second daughter of King Frederick II of Denmark, she married James I at the age of 14, and bore him three children who survived infancy, including the future Charles I.

This Royal Doulton figurine is a first quality with no chips, cracks or restoration.
