I have for you this evening a beautiful example of porcelain that was fired at the kilns of Royal Doulton in England in the late 19th century. This piece is made of very fine grade porcelain and has been cast into a classic scalloped rim mold design made popular by this maker. The plate has been glazed in blush and is trimmed in gold with beading along the rim. The center is decorated beautifully with what appear to be Orchids and has been done by a master painter. The gilt work is obviously that of a master gilder as well. This is a classic piece and is quite lovely. Please see all of my pictures to gain a true appreciation for this beautifull piece. This piece will make a truly unique and lovely addition to your collection as well as displaying beautifully no matter the setting.
Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This plate measures 9.5\" in diameter and dates from the late 19th century by the marks \"note the lack of country of origin makes circa late 1880\'s\" and design elements.
Item condition report: This piece is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The glaze is in excellent order and the gold gilt appears to be fully intact. The colors are still fresh and vibrant. This piece displays beautifully.
