This is a wonderful Old Series Ware CHOP PLATE from Royal Doulton in the BAYEUX TAPESTRY Pattern.
It was produced from 1907 until 1930. 12 ins wide it has NO CHIPS and NO CRACKS.
For some reason the close photo is lighter in color that reality.. the full plate photo is the true color.
The original Bayeaux Tapestry was created for William the Conqueror and depicts scenes from the Battle of Hasting 1066. It is displayed in its own Museum in Bayeux, Normandy- France.
This plate is heavy and so shipping it is not cheap!
