This is a beautiful set of twelve EXTREMELY RARE vintage hand painted plates by Royal Doulton. The plates are bone china and made in England. The center of each plate has a floral medallion in bright crisp colors and each plate isartist signed.Because they are hand painted each center floral design is similar but each has slight variations to the flowers and coloring.The borders are decorated with finely detailed stylized gold leaves and overlaid with delicate green and gold decorations. They are marked on the back.

The plates are 10 3/4\" across

Excellent condition with no nicks or chips. They exhibit no wear and there are no utensil scratch marks - I believe they were used only for cabinet display and I believe are circa 1900 - 1920.
