Beautiful Art Nouveau vase from Royal Doulton - Robert Allen studiosMarked RA6563 from 1907Deep, rich cobalt blue base with delicate filigree gilding and an emblem of pink and red roses. Roses signed by E. Wood for the renowned Edwin Wood. His service at Royal Doulton was from1898–1938.Vase measures 8 1/2\" tall. Small decorative handles near the rim.No chips or cracks. There is crazing in the area of the roses on the white background. There are tiny white specks here and there. I think they are something stuck to the surface. I have been able to clean most of them off but I am not a professional. I do not want to disturb the gilding!This vase is really exquisite.Please look at the photos carefully.
