These incredibly kept, flawless statues were made in Czechoslovakia, as stamped on the bottom of each statue, by the Royal Dux company of Bohemia in (the former) Czechoslovakia. Circa 1920\'s.
Due to their sheer size, these statues are extremely rare.
The woman stands at 21.5 inches tall, barefoot carrying wheat in her peasant\'s dress. Her red hair and blue eyes are highly defined against the delicate bisque porcelain.
The man is also carrying wheat he has harvested along with a hand-scythe. He stands in work boots, slightly shorter than the woman, at 21 inches tall.
Each statue weighs approximately seven lbs, and can be purchased separately, but collectors should probably bear in mind that buying in set pairs is always better.
