Of all the Wedding dolls made of Princess Catheine ofCambridge, my favorite is the Ashton Drake 2011 porcelain doll. This beautiful16 inch porcelain doll has that winning smile and the wispy hair of the realwoman. The face, torso, arms and legs are made of porcelain and painted withsuch perfect detail, even showing a bit of pink flush to the cheeks and knees.The below shoulder brown hair is hand rooted and sewn, the face is hand paintedeven to the lip gloss and pearl like teeth. She wears pretty rhinestoneearrings with metal droplets attached to a prong in the ears. Her torso isattached to a soft muslin hips and upper legs. She has a lovely hands withpainted blue stone ring and nails and her feet are encased in painted heels.The gown is spectacular, a polyester that looks like satin with beautiful whiteembroidered flowers around the bottom and the train. The train has 2 hooks thatattach to the back waist to make a bow style back. The fitted bodice of thegown has round heart shaped breast cups with a decorative sheer lace jacket.The crown is simple metal with 3 small stones and attached netting edged withlace. It was originally sewn to the head; but interfered with brushing thehair. It sits on the head easily. The doll stand is a simple affair, clampingbetween her legs.

I purchased her from a private owner and she has been kept in anair-conditioned, smoke free home since purchase.
