This late 1950\'s Royal Quiet DeLuxe typewriter, in very good to excellent condition, comes in a beautiful, hard to find, all original glossy creamy yellow color. Beginning in 1955, Royal introduced a line of vibrant and exciting glossy colors for their already popular Quiet DeLuxe model. These colorful glossy DeLuxes continued only until 1959. This vintage yellow typewriter comes with its original case andoriginal cotton black/red ribbon on metal ribbon spools.
This beautiful vintage yellow typewriter is in excellent mechanical and working condition, with nice, clean snappy keys. Cosmetically the all metal yellow body is in very good condition with very small nicks to the paint here and there, most noticeable:onlower backside. The inside and bare metal parts are clean with little to no wear. The original case, (fiberglass with tweed covering) is in excellent, working condition, with only minor signs of wear from use and age.
This typewriter has been thoroughly and carefully cleaned, tested, adjusted, and is fully functionalIt types great with a nice snappy feel, pulls in paper nicely, carriage is smooth and all keys and bell work as they did in 1956.
