Offering up this absolutely beautiful Russian Enamel over Sterling Silver Cigarette Case created by Gustav Klingert. Recognized as one of Russia\'s most skilled craftsman, Klingert actually worked for Faberge for a while. Eventually opening his own workshop where he and his staff produced amazing pieces of craftsmanship such as this case. The opal colored blue bead design rimming the case and framing the interior section designs are a signature style of his work. The piece has markings for both sterling and GK for Klingert. The hinge is strong and intact along with the button to open the case. The gold gilding on the inside is faded but still present. The Case measures 3.5\'\' tall and 3.25\'\' wide and weighs 164.2 grams. This is an amazing piece of art history and in incredible condition for its age. Shipping will be by authorized signature acceptance and fully insured. The Case has been in my family\'s collection for over 40 years, it is time to let someone else enjoy her.
