The box measures 1 3/4 in. x 1 1/4 in. x 1 1/4 in. Since its purchase in 1993, it has been in a display cabinet, so there is not a mark on it. It is like new--perfect condition. It is signed and titled in Russian , which I do not read , so I can\'t tell you either one. ( sorry ) It probably represents a Russian fairy tale or folk tale.
