An interesting Russian Orthodox icon hand painted on wood depicting St.Nicholas and Saints with metal and jeweled decoration.

The back is marked ST.NICHOLAS WITH THE DEESIS AND SAINTS / XVI ?? NORTHERN PROV (province) OF NOVGOROD.

Russian icons are not my field so can\'t give an age for this item but I am told it is authentic.

SIZE: 10.5\" (26.75 cms) x 8.25\" (21 cms) x 1\" (2.5 cms) deep.
