We are offering for sale a scarce IMPERIAL RUSSIA Solid Silver Snuff Box

Marked for \"84\" silver, which is .875 purity.

\"SA\" makers marks are unidentified

THIS CASE WAS ONCE OWNED BY HAGOP BOGIGIAN, THE FIRST AMERICAN-ARMENIAN MILLIONAIRE, PIONEER AND PHILANTHROPIST.

THE CASE WAS INHERITED BY DR. H. MARTIN DERANIAN, A PROMINENT DENTIST IN THE WORCESTER, MA ARE WHO PASSED AWAY IN 2016.

This piece is decorated on both covers. Front cover has an engraved scene of what appears to be a large estate house, perhaps in Imperial Russia. Rear case has a decorative place for monogram; Piece remains free from monogram.

Interior shows traces of gold wash. Fully hallmarked (see photographs) on one cover; provenance stated on other cover in 4 labels.

Measurements: 3.75\" L x 2.25\" W x .75\" D

Piece is in VERY GOOD estate condition. It shows patina and could use a polishing. There is light overall surface wear. NO noted flaws.
