This Russian Lacquer box was a gift to me around 1977, purchased in a specialty store in Boulder, Colorado.
I have kept it in the lined original box since. The lacquer is clean without scratches or use. Along with this fine hinged
Palekh artwork comes a book on the making and history of the boxes made in Palekh. The book is in five languages. Glossy cover with spine intact as well as glossy clean pages. The lovely box speaks for itself. My favorite part was the blue bubbles. Thank you for considering.
