This is a Gichner S250 military communications shelter. Made to mount in back of Humvees. All aluminum frame and skins. Insulated with 1.5\" Polyurathane. Very heavy-duty and overbuilt. Made for heavy-handling. Built on skids. Empty weight approx 750 lbs. Fits nicely in civilian pickup trucks, on utility trailer, or freestanding. Great for a survivalist/prepper. Possibilities are endless: use as bug-out shelter, slide-in pickup truck camper, enclosed trailer solution, toy hauler, storage building, hunting cabin, hunting cooler, etc. Steps on side and top is grippy like rhino-lining serves as observation platform. New vinyl floor under which there is grip-tape floor. Gallon Sand Camo Exterior Enamel Included (cost me $52). Trailer not included. Hard to find in this condition especially in this configuration. I stripped everything on the left side, and left the desk w/overhead shelf & lower storage on the right. There is an additional OEM adjustable shelf system between desk and door.I had new main door hinge baseplates fabricated. All-new gold/hardened main-door hinge bolts/washers/nuts (21 bolts total >$50). Pre-cut & painted aluminum squares for ducts on rear (as shown on front).Very clean, extensivelypressure-washed inside & out. Local pickup only in Clemson, SC 29631. Local delivery possible.
