A heavy Sterling Silver Tray from Sanborns in Mexico. This large piece measures about 13-1/2 inches to 14 inches in diameter and weighs a very substantial 1490 grams (47.9 troy ounces). It features a Grape Cluster motif in deep relief running around the edge of the rim. The Sanborns mark is found on the undersideat the center.

Condition: Very good with no significant issues. Some utensil marks are seen at the bottom, although shallow due to polishing over the years.Some spots of tarnish are noted, with tarnish and toning seen on the trim running around the rim. Darker tarnish seen on the underside, with some shallow bumps at the edge of the foot. An impressive piece! All pictures show the actual tray you will receive.
