A scarce antique Fremington planter and stand decorated with incised floral designs on a yellow ground by Edwin Beer Fishley and dating from around 1886. This particular example was acquired as part of collection of three identical planters, two of which were dated 1886 and one of which was marked for Edwin Beer Fishley. These were sold some time ago and this piece has remained as part of our own collection since. The red earthenware planter is of typical plant pot shape standing on a rounded unglazed foot with central drain hole and is of conical shape with a rounded fold over top edge. The body is decorated in yellow glazes with incised naive leaf and floral designs. The stand is potted in the same red clay and stands on a rounded pedestal base with a rounded shallow bowl shaped top into which the planter sits. The body of the stand is similarly decorated with incised leaf designs on a yellow glazed ground. Neither piece is marked.

Insurance

Local Taxes

All items are inclusive of all local taxes but may be subject to additional charges for importation and taxes local to the client. While we are not liable for these additional charges we do encourage clients to research these prior to purchasing items from us. We will make a full value disclosure, where required, on all items sent overseas and this is required to ensure proper insurance cover in sending valuable items.

Delivery Times

Art & Antiques will be dispatched within 2 working days of cleared payment. Watches & Jewellery will be dispatched the same day payment clears providing this is before 3pm.

Guarantee & Returns Policy

In compliance with distance selling regulations we offer all clients the opportunity to return items within 7 days of receipt.

A full refund of the purchase price, excluding delivery costs, will be provided upon the safe receipt of items in the same condition as supplied. The liability for any damage incurred during transit will remain with the sender and all items dispatched by us will be sent fully insured.

We recommend that similar insurance be placed on items when returning them to us.

All returns must be communicated with a returns reference obtained and attached prior to an item being sent back.

We sell only branded watches. All are provided with a minimum 12 month warranty (unless otherwise stated) from Xupes Ltd. The watch movement is covered under this warranty however this does not apply to any inappropriate damage caused by mistreatment of your watch. The warranty does not cover damage to bracelets, cases, crystals/glasses, or damage arising from use in water. We do not cover accidental damage or loss. Our Xupes warranty is not transferable. We provide every watch sold with a free replacement valuation, which can be used for insurance purposes. In addition clients receive a statutory 7 day money back guarantee on all watches, which we deliver via the mail providing they are returned to us in their original condition. Jewellery

We sell fine jewellery and work with specialist suppliers to bring you honest and accurate descriptions. We maintain a full photographic record of all pieces sold. We are unable to accept returns where items have been specifically modified or made for a client and encourage our clients to physically view and try items prior to purchase. We can however modify items (such as resizing rings) although there may be a small charge. Returns of items sent by mail will be accepted for the statutory 7 day period after delivery. However any tampering or alteration will invalidate this guarantee. All returns must be agreed with Xupes beforehand.
