The internal pages are clean, bright and very crisp, and still retain their original rigidity. The pages have no stains, no handling marks, no writing, no bent pages, and no foxing. Beautiful clean, tidy example of this title appearing as unread!

The original first edition, first printing dust jacket has benefited from some very slight restoration to the spine tips by an expert paper conservator and presents as a near fine example. The jacket has strong vibrant colors with no edgewear, no chips, no rips, no stains, and no rubbing. The jacket is NOT price clipped and has the requisite stated price of 250/250, along with 14 titles shown on the rear inside flap and The Cat In The Hat advert to the rear panel pricing the book at $2.00, all of which are necessary points to designate the true first state, first printing jacket.
