This battery operated Hong Kong Rickshaw was Empire Made in Hong Kong by the Plastic Manufacturing Corporation, Ltd., and is circa the 1960\'s.About 10 inches long and 6.5 inches tall. In like new condition.
When switched on there is no response from the toy, so it is being sold as not working for display or repair. No cracks or chips. Minor factory glue discoloration on the hat. Includes the rear lantern which is often missing from this toy.
The box art is terrific - it features the rickshaw being pulled with a sailor passenger clutching his hat in one hand and a bottle of beer or Coke in the other. The PMC toy factory sign is on the building in the background. The Do Do Bar and One Two Tailor are also featured on other buildings.
The original box is fair to good, with shelf wear, a cover punch through (hard to notice), and some small rips/tears. It displays quite well and it retains its\' glossy finish.
