These items are a WONDERFUL RARE ANTIQUE SET of 12 W.T. Copeland & Sons SHAKESPEARE PLATES…..each with what appears to be a ROBIN HOOD scene/theme……there are 10 different scenes (3 are the same depicting Maid Marion at the sitting at the easel)…….SEE PICTURES. Each measures approx. 10 and 3/4 inches in diameter. Each is marked on the base \"W.T. Copeland & Sons Stoke-On-Trent England\" and impressed as well……according to my Porcelain and Pottery Guidebook, these marks date these plates to 1847-1867……SEE PICTURES. EACH is in EXCELLENT antique condition with NO chips, cracks or repairs. SUPERB RARE ANTIQUE SET!! Thanks for looking.
