OFFERED FOR SALE: SET/2 ROYAL DOULTON SERVING PLATTERS IN THE GRANTHAM PATTERN MADE IN ENGLAND
The traditional Grantham Pattern consists of several different elements large brightly colored flowers, blue waters, brown landscape scenery and a neatly wide dotted rim. the rim is scalloped and ridged.
AGE: The smaller platter is much older, is signed and stamped I believe it is 65+ years The larger platter is probably 35-50 years old. The smaller of the two has a deeper off white/ivory coloring while the larger is lighter.
SIZE: Large - 13 3/8\" x 10 5/8\" The small - 11 1/8\" x 9\". Both are approximately 2\" deep
CONDITION: Very nice vintage condition -- no chips, cracks, repairs or loss of color or paint. There is a bit of age related darkening on the underside of the smaller platter and a bit of scraping on the bottom of the larger.
