Up for sale is a gorgeous, solid sterling silver bread plate or small serving dish made by fine American silver maker, Shreve & Co. The plate has beautifully detailed scalloped edges.

The plate measures 6 1/4” in diameter. The plate is in overall very good estate condition with no splits or repairs. There are a few dings that can be seen in the pic if you zoom in. In my opinion, they are minor. The back of the plate is marked \"SHREVE & CO, STERLING SAN FRANCISCO”. There is a monogram of “FCE”. The plate weighs a very substantial 4 regular ounces. This is a beautiful antique piece!!
