Age: Meiji Period (1868 - 1912).

Size: The piece measures 6cm in height x 23cm in width.

Artist/signature: The piece is signed \"Ryosai\".

Condition: The piece is in great condition overall. Chip to one robe and one leg.

Comments: A fine Japanese Sumida Gawa figural relief drip glaze bowl, dating from the Meiji Period. The piece is exquisitely decorated with Boys climbing around the side of thebowl in anadventurous scene. Exquisite marbled drip glaze design on a red surface (all which is in perfect order).
