I have recently bought a collection of signed Italian Buccellati sterling silver animal sculptures from a local estate. All of the pieces will be listed over the next few days and all will be sold without reserve. Part of this collection includes a very large and rare silver owl mounted on wood with silver flowers, so please see my other listings for rest of this fine sterling silver animal collection.

This listing is for figure of a seated duck. The duck has a vermeil wash on the bill and feet which adds a nice contrast to the piece. The duck measures 2 1/2 inches or 6.5 cm high, 4 1/4 incehs wide, and weighs 95.5 grams or 3.08 troy ounces. The silver sculpture is done with excellent attention to detail and is signed on the bottom of one foot “GIANMARIA BUCCELLATI ITALY”.

The silver duck is in very good condition, there is some age appropriate darkening to the silver. Please see the many photographs.
