Up for sale is an unusual English silver plate 5 cup teapot. Notice the ovoid shaped ribbed design on the lower body, the spout, and the finial base, the graceful shape of the spout, and the raised lid hinge, which is curiously and unusually placed sideways on the side of the lid. The scalloped handle and fluted finial are made of ebony wood.

Made and signed by Walker & Hall, this distinctive kettle was made in the Georgian style in Sheffield, England in the late 19th to early 20th century. It would make a very attractive addition to your breakfast, tea time, or dinner table.
