Sheffield, England - ART DECO - 2 troy oz - CASED SET!

This is a lovely rare set of SIX VINTAGE solid sterling silver tea or coffee spoonswhich was made in Sheffield, England in 1931 by the illustrious silversmiths, Angora. They are in a gorgeous ART DECO or MODERNISTpatternand are NOT engraved to the handles. Each tea spoon is 3 3/4\" long overall and the bowls measure almost 7/8\" wide. Each spoon weighs8.6 grams - making a total weight ofalmost 13/4troy oz.

They are in very good condition with much less than the usual surface scratching - see photograph - and, unusually, NO dings and dents between the set - with NO distortion - SUPERB. They are each hallmarked on therear of the handle with A.S.P&Co, crown, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),oshowing that they were hallmarked in Sheffield in 1931. I have shown the hallmarks so that you can make up your own mind. They come in their originalgold tooled leatherette case which is lined withgold silk andbrown velvet - all in very good condition. A very rare set ofSIX STUNNING ART DECO quality spoons afterover 80 years and at a very low start - such a delightful set!!!
