Vintage Spanish Colonial Bell
Here’s a lovely vintage bell in an antique Spanish Colonial style. Handcrafted of thick bronze, the bell has an ornate floral design in relief covering all sides and a wonderful aged patina. Raised text of “Mejico 1811”. Has a very loud and clear high pitched ring!
Measures 6” tall, 5 1/4” wide. 3 lbs. Excellent condition.

If you need a custom display stand for this bell, please see the stand I created for another client (last photo; NOT included in this listing) in a Raincross design- a combination of the trapezoid-shaped mass bell stand design used by Father Junipero Serra (founder of the Spanish missions of California) topped by the double-armed cross to which the Navajos prayed for rain. This design was made famous by the Mission Inn in Riverside, CA.
