Wonderful GeorgeV Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Comport/Tazza Made By Walker & Hall
Description - Superb1920s Walker & Hall solid silver comport/tazza, the comport has beautiful pierced decoration and has an the engraved inscription \"Beppino\" in the bottom of the bowl, the comport stand on a single pedestal foot.
The dish is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter \"D\" for the year 1928 and the maker\'s mark \"W & H\" which is Walker & Hall
Condition -The comport is very good condition, there are no dents, dinks, splits, holes, repairs and the comport stands evenly on its foot, there is rubbing to the hallmarks but they are legible through a loupe.
Dimensions & Weight -The comport is x 11.8cm diameter x 5.6cm high, the weight is 82.6grams.
