Squirrel lovers... here is a cute little rascal for you!Excellent condition, clean, shiny, 1950s vintage, no cracks, chips scratches, no repaired spots. The bottom side is smooth, has aletter, or mark on it, and paints stains, not dirt.
It was made and acquired in California by my parents who are the original owners.I do not know anything else of its origin or acquisition, which surprises me that I never asked more about it.The squirrel is holding a genuine (and its the original) pecan. We are hobby wood workers and have examined it very closely...it\'s real.Much of it is hand painted, as in all the highlight colors express brush strokes.It is very shiny, 5\" long, 2\" wide, 2\" high, porcelain we think.It is a table top, shelf decor item, lays very flat, not tipsy.Please see all the pictures and ask me if you have questions.Thanks for reading this!
