Here is an Original Intergalactic Passport from the Classic 1980 film, \"Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.\" This Passport is un-stamped,making it very desirable for collectors. As you can see in the pictures above, it is in excellent condition. It is a nice blue color and has a cloth type texture to it. I have provided pictures of all of the different pages inside. This is the real deal original production made Intergalactic Passport, it is not a later reproduction. It is extremely rare and valuable. It measures appx. 6\" x 4\".
Intergalactic passports of this kind were a novel security clearance concept devised by Producer Gary Kurtz, allowing members of the crew and media to access various soundstages based at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire. According to reputable enthusiast website \'Starwars.com, only 450 passports were produced. They are extremely hard to find, as the vast majority remain in ILM archives. Un-stamped versions such as this one are less common than the ones which were stamped, making this passport particularly desirable.
The Intergalactic Passports were special passcards issued in 1980 on the set of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back to grant access to the film crew, the press, and visitors. They were from an in-universe perspective and featured faux \"stamps\" for various locations in the Star Wars universe, including Tatooine, Corellia, and Utapau. Those props grew so popular that a commercial version of them later became available at bookstores.
