Harris & Shafer Sterling Teaset

-Retailed by the Harris & Shafer Co. (1880-1938) of Pennsylvania Ave and later of 1308 F Street in Washington D.C.

- Approximately 24.9 oz of Sterling Silver!

-Petite Teaset typically used for a breakfast tray in the Edwardian Era.

-All three pieces featuring incredibly detailed repousse work typical of Baltimore Silversmiths around the turn of the century such as Stieff, Kirk & Son, Jacobi, Jenkins, etc.

-The Repousse pattern on the pieces features roses, daisies, dogwoods, and other botanic blossoms

-All three pieces are Monogrammed with the same monogram of "M E H"

-The Teapot features bone insulators, weighs 16oz, Stands 7.75" tall, and is 6.75 at the widest point (tip of spout to handle)

-The Creamer weighs 4.17oz, stands 3.15" high, and 4" at the widest point

-The Open Sugar weighs 4.73oz, stands 3.15" high, and 5" at the widest point

-Please Note: The only condition we have found with this tea set is a slight gap when the lid of the teapot is closed (see pictures). It is minor and could easily be corrected by a qualified jeweler or silversmith.
