Pacific Northwest artist Amy Brown was born in Bellingham, Washington in 1972. As a child she spent countless hours drawing fairy princesses at an old, dark wood table in the living room of the beach cabin her parents rented. The doodling continued throughout her adolescence and at the age of 21 she began to take her art seriously, specializing in painting the fairy realm. The piecehaslovely colors, nice detail and fine craftsmanship.Stocking Diva has shoulder-length,straightredhair.She wears agreen tunic with red sash with gold bells. She has red and white striped tights and hat that includes a sprig of holly. In her left hold she holds an empty red stocking. The fairy is madeof polystone and is handcrafted and handpainted. The overall piece isapproximately5\" tall,4 1/2\"wide. A gold string is attached to the back for hanging. A gold metal hanger is also included fordisplaying theornament in plants, arrangements or on a display stand that is sold separately.
