Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have never added to my collection any pressbooks that were not in very good condition. Please note that these images were all scanned, so you have a perfect example of what you are getting, I don\'t believe in far away pictures where you cannot see the condition of the pages. Some pressbooks have thinner pages and the scanner with the very bright light often will pick up the print on the other side, so please keep that in mind when looking at the photos, this does not show when looking at the page and also the scanner may produce shadows or darker areas, mainly on the extreme sides of the pages, which are not there. Some scans were done in black and white but there will always be several in color, even though the pages are in black and white, to show the paper color. Please contact me for any questions PRIOR to the sale end.Please note that almost all pressbooks from the 50\'s (maybe even some from the 60\'s) may have a slightly darkened paper color due to years of sitting about. This is completely normal for magazines and other printed material from those eras. The scans have a hard time showing the paper color, if a particular pressbook has darkened more than average I will certainly say so in my description. Also please note that my pressbook descriptions are very precise, instead of just saying \"there is some wear throughout,\" I believe in describing each issue if there are any. So while at times my description may have a list of issues, please note that many of them can be quite small that others might not feel worth mentioning. This is a collectible and I feel people should know everything down to an extremely small tear. Final note, scans are done in low resolution so please note that all graphics and ads are much clearer in the pressbook than on the scan, and because these are newspaper-ready images, you may see a pixelated image, this is due to the scanner and is not that way in the pressbook.UNCUT Warner Brothers original pressbook for \"STRANGE LADY IN TOWN\" starring Greer Garson, Dana Andrews, Cameron MitchellPressbook has been folded in the past but flattened for over 25 years so sits very flat.. This pressbook is missing the front and back covers but since there is so much great material inside and it is very rarely saleed, I decided to list it.The numbers 55-136 have been written on the very top of page 3 (which is the first page). This was written by the National Screen Service who sent these to theaters for their filing system. The first number meant it was from 1955 and the second meant it was the 136th movie of the year. There is a 2\" tear right at the fold on the right hand side of the first page. Otherwise in excellent condition. If it had the cover I would have listed this at 59.95.This is an original (not copied) authentic piece of Hollywood memorabilia! All pages are printed on a beautiful glossy paper. TOTAL NUMBER OF PAGES: 16 pages remain

The response that I have received that is negative (3 out of about 1,000), one person never contacted me that they were sent a pressbook with a cut in it, I simply sent the wrong one. I certainly would have corrected the problem immediately if they had just told me. I replaced it immediately. The other 2 are from someone who misunderstood that I send my pressbooks out on Tuesdays and they go Media Mail, which was an additional 4-8 days. She expected them in a few days. I completely refunded her total postage (after the negative response) even though the items were sent as stated. If you have a problem, PLEASE contact me and I will do everything I can to correct an error. This is my personal promise.
