Presenting an exquisite vintage medallion designed by
the renowned silversmith, Stuart Devlin, for Strachan.

This exceptionally fine example is a part of the Australian Native Fauna
Collection which consists of six different designs featuring Australian wildlife.

This stunning round shaped medallion features a beautifully detailed
echidna rendered in relief. The style is similar in nature to his award winning
designs featured on Australia\'s first decimal coins which Devlin designed in 1966.

The reverse side of the medallion features the raised lettering
\"Australian Native Fauna Echidna by Stuart Devlin Strachan Australia\"
with Devlin\'s signature appearing above the Strachan emblem.

This medallion looks just the ones that are inset within the hinged
lid of Stuart Devlin\'s trinket boxes, and may well be unused pieces
from this design, or could have been retailed separately as medallions.

This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, losses or
repairs. The thick, quality plating remains in sensational, sparkling condition with
no losses or wear. This piece has been very well cared and presents spectacularly.

This piece measures 42mms in diameter.
