CASE:

The 3 piece double hinged case to this beautiful watch is solid 14 carat gold with a metal dustcover. It has a beautiful foliate (Acanthus) hand engraved pattern to the case back which is in beautiful condition. I can see a few noticeable dings to the case sides (see photos) and a couple of pin head dings to the caseback. All of the covers push to well. I have gently polished the case, and it is shining wonderfully, as only hi grade SOLID GOLD can. The dust cover is in good condition with a patina and is made from gold colored metal.THE WATCH MEASURES 3.6CMS (36MM) across. The hinges to the front rear show no real signs of abuse. The inside of the back cover is marked for solid 14k gold.

DIAL:

This lovely collectible watch has a STUNNING original snow white fabulously enamelled dial It is unsigned, and is in excellent condition. It has beautiful sharp and crisp very rare BLUE Roman painted numerals which are enclosed by a beautifully designed enamel painted gold highlighted borders.Everything is crisp and clear with no apparent numeral wear.The dial is also enameled in gold to its centre with a gorgeous design to it with lovely gold and highlights. The crystal is plexi and is brand new.The beautiful antique spade style watch hands are golden steel and are in excellent condition.

MOVEMENT:

This is a lovely condition Swiss made unsigned crown wind and pin set cylinder movement which was typical of the movements at this time. It has minty steel screws. The watch runs and has been FULLY SERVICED by my watchmaker. The watch is keeping time to about 3 mins per day. It winds smoothly and the pin setting works as it should. The chain ring is looks to be solid gold but is not hallmarked and is in good condition.
