STUNNING 1808 SIGNED ENGLISH STERLING SILVER VERGE FUSEE POCKET WATCH, WORKING.VERY UNUSUAL DIAL !! Superb Diamond end stone movement signed Will, m (William) Mills, London 1487 Movement is in working order, but is ticking slower than it should, will probably need a service. Note the very unusual dial, the hour / minute markers appear to be letters, the name WILLIAM can be seen and maybe surname DORE?. The Sterling Silver case is hallmarked London with date letter N for the year 1808. There is a crack to the dial, case in reasonable condition. Fitted with original bullseye glass. Case approx 48mm in diameter. Sold without a key.
