Model 164 Bisque-Head Child Doll

This is a beautiful bisque socket-head girl doll, with delicate hand painting and a childlike expression of wonder.

She is marked Made In Germany, 164, indicating that she was made by Kestner.

She has a lovely pale blond wig (hint of strawberry-blond). Her head, body, and clothing are all inamazing condition. (See Condition Details below.)

She will be a perfect addition to your collection -- certain to be always the center of attention. In a word, she is simply beautiful.

- Kestner\'s 25\" Nominal Size - Actually Measures approx. 24\" from feet to top of pate/wig

Condition Details:

Here you have my best good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind, though, that vintage/antique dolls always show their age -- (Don\'t we all!?) --so please expect that there will be something about this doll lot that\'s not perfect.It is not in brand-new condition. There will always be some minor indication of age, and it would be impossible to itemize every single pinhead-size stain on the outfit or hairline scratch on the body. Please expect that your vintage/antique doll will have these types of normal age-related conditions even if they are not mentioned below.

- The doll head and body are in EXTRAORDINARY antique condition.

- She\'s still well strung.

- Her gorgeous face has no rubs or cracks. Original brown sleep eyes.- The bisque head is in good condition, with no cracks or chips.- Original Kestner plaster pate, and marking on the back of her head.- Her composition body is in very good condition. There are some normal rubs / paint loss to hands feet (SEE FINAL PHOTO) -- but no repairs.

- All pieces of the outfit are in amazing condition. Though not all, are as old as the doll. (At least, I know that the hat / prop parasol / draw purse are obviously newer.)

As with all my listings (unless explicitly stated otherwise), this comes from a NON-smoking Environment.
