RARE - Gorgeous Glass Bottle - Levi & Salaman -STUNNING

This is a very pretty ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN solid sterling silver mounted dressing table perfume or scent bottle or flask that was made in Birmingham, England in 1902 by the famous Victorian silversmiths, Levi & Salaman at their Newhall Street workshops. The globular bottle has lovely hobnail cut sides with a solid sterling silver mounted neck and shroudand a solid sterling silver hinged lid - which are NOT engraved. The flask measures 2 7/8\" in diameter and stands almost 3 3/4\" tall.The ensembleweighs204.2 grams -well over6 1/2troy oz. but that includes the glass.

The glass is in excellent condition with NO cracks and evenlittle damage to the neck. The silver is in very good condition with just the usual light surface scratching, and or repairs or splits- just a few dings and distortion - the hinge is firm and the lid still shuts very well. It is hallmarked to the rim with L&S, anchor, lion passant(sterling silver assay mark),cshowing that it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1902. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. Postage will beFREE within the UK and from 4.50GBP to international destinations.
