This incredible Vaquero Saddle is a one of a kind, amazing piece of history. Likely built in the early 1900\'s, this saddle is a classic example of a true Vaquero (Mexican) Saddle.
This saddle also has the addedintrigueof being marked under the saddle bags \"MGM\", a clear indication that at one point in its life it was in Hollywood!
Most recently this saddle was the featured still life model for renown Oil Painter Timothy Tyler, in his incredible still life, \"Saddles now Silent\"; a painting that sold at the CMR sale, along side such artists as Charles Russell. (See photos for example of the painting).
