Listed this week is a Huge Collection ofGlass. There is some amazing examplesall being offered with s ! The Glass itemsinclude pieces from the Georgian Period, Victorian Period, Art Nouveau and Art Deco Periodsplus 20th Century Stemware. This saleis foran absolutely breathtaking 1909 American Sterling Silver and American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Oakland Golf Club Trophy Vase. The Vase is one of the finest examples of a Trophy that I have ever sold and an amazing example of American Art Nouveau Period Sterling Silver and ABP Cut Glass. The Glass Vase is not signed but I am told it would be by Hawkes or one of the other top companies. The Trophy features a very large conical form Sterling Silver Vase with pierced and etched and piercedArt Nouveau Floral designs throughout plus a stunning Cut Glass Vase insert with a very large ruffled top and amazing Cut Flower designs. The Trophy is so much more impressive than my photos show and the Trophy was never named so you could have it inscribed with a relatives name or possibly havethe inscriptionbuffed out if you so desire. The Vase is in excellent all original condition with no damage, chip, cracks, dents or repairs. The Vase also makes quite a statement and displays beautifully measuring 15\" tall by 10\" wide across the ruffled glass top or 6-1/2\" across the reinforced base. The Silver Vase is marked with a maker\'s mark that is unknown to me and Sterling Silver with a quality weight of522 grams alone. If you collect Golf Trophies, American Art Nouveau Silver or American Brilliant Period Cut Glass this is sure to be a star piece in your collection. I doubt you will ever find another quite like it again, especially up for sale with !
