Item: - STUNNING LARGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FINELY CARVED SHELL 9CT GOLD CAMEO BROOCH

Description: - This is a beautiful, ornate, Victorian Carved Shell 9ct Gold Cameo brooch. The brooch is made in a typically Victorian style, which compliments the finely carved shell cameo made in a classical style.

Period: - c1870

Engraving: - None.

Measurement: - The brooch measures 5.4cm x 4.3cm.

Weight: - 17.05grams / 0.549 troy ounces

Condition: - The cameo has been finely carved. There is no damage in the form of stress lines, chips, or cracks to the shell. The 9ct gold setting has some light wear and surface scratches commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
