These are a quite stunning pair of miniature miniature seated pug dogs with the open front legs and collars of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the 19th century.

Dates about c1880.

Of a german origin.

These and similar dog figures including other pugs from the 19th century were part of a recent house portrayal of the seated pair of pug dogs with the delightful facial features.

Around the necks are the decorative collars with the bows.

Each has an overall height of about 2.75inches.

Base sizes including open front legs, ofabout 2.5 x 1.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent with no major blemishes.
