A stunning quality Anglo IndianColonial silver sauce / gravy boat. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver.Its style and patina date it to c1880. It has been beautifully hand made havinga coiled cobra snake / serpent handle and has been finely embossed and engraved with animals.It is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs.It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cms) long lip to handle by over 3 inches(8cms) wide by 2.25 inches (5.8cms) to the top of the handle and weighs 124 grams. One of the best quality examples I have seen.
