A stunning high qualitysterling silver and enamel cigarette case. It is hallmarked with import marks forLondon 1927 with the sponsors mark being most likely F B Reynolds. Ithas been beautifully designed having a hand painted guilloche enamelled gardenscene to its front and engine turned to its back. The inside has been richlygilded and has been engraved with the initials FP. It is in super conditionbeing free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel is superb being free from chips cracks and repairs. The hinge is strong and the catchworks perfectly. It measures 3.5 inches (8.9cms) tall by over 2.25 inches (6cms)across and weighs 95 grams. A very high quality example.
