You simply never find them like this.....it is unused and mint condition. It is a full Solid sterling silverCommunion set from 1863 in its original travelling box with its original presentation plaque on the front. Each piece is totslly crisp and totallyunused, and the outside box is totally clean too. The Plaque reads as follows.....'Presented to the Rev Edward Ashton Jones by the members and friends of the Bromley Widmore and Keston Societies upon his leaving the Bromley circuit -15th August 1871'.Each piece has a fabulous sun design with IHS in the centrecarries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks for London 1863 along with a makers markfor George John Richards and Edward Charles Brown.You will not find a cleaner set, it is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere. The chalice stands 88mm (3.5") high by 39mm (1.5") in diameter at the top, thepaten measures 62mm (2.5") and the bottle stands85mm (3.25") tall by 35mm (1.3") by 18mm (0.75") at the base.
