This is such a beautifully delicate Victorian Era necklace! I purchased this many years ago at an antique show, and wore it maybe twice, otherwise it has been displayed under glass. It has oxidized over the years and has now developed a gorgeous patina that only time can give a sterling silver piece. Personally, I wouldn\'t touch it as far as polishing or cleaning, but I\'ll leave that up to its new owner. I lightened the photos of it shown on the neckpiece, but it is really darker like the other photos show. This is an old piece, but in remarkably wonderful condition given its age. There is one spider that has a little hole in it, but that was there when I bought it. The webs are approximately 1\" in diameter, give or take since they are all made by hand and are therefore, a bit different from the next. The overall length of the necklace is 20\" with 9 spiders in their webs, and then one hanging down in the center with a littlefiligree piece hanging down from that. The necklace is not marked sterling, but it was tested right in front of me when I bought it and did test as sterling. IF YOU LOVE THE UNIQUE...........THIS ONE\'S FOR YOU!!
