You are viewing a darling summertime woven wicker satchel by STYLECRAFT, Miami, Ca. 1950\'s. This bag is the perfect size and is quite substantial - but the main focus is the charming woven horse head motif that graces the front of the bag. This equine is wearing a full bridle and has an orange marble for an eye. Charming!
Satchel comes to you in very good, pre-owned condition. On the very front, bottom corner are two small black spots (ink? (see pics)). Aside from that, there are no discolored spots, soiling or strange odors on the inside or outside.
Each wicker length has been encased in substantial, clear plastic before woven together, so the entirety is very durable and protected from the elements. The barrel clasp is in secure working order and there are no breaks or splits to the faux leather covered handles (all darker colored areas are saddle brown colored faux leather).
Interior is lined in dark peach/tan colored plastic. It contains one zippered pocket and a horizontal patch pocket. Sewn into an interior corner is a fabric tag that reads: Handmade in Hong Kong, Exclusive Design, STYLECRAFT, MIAMI
Bottom of bag has four protective brass feet.
