Shipping from ENGLAND or FRANCE (I move regularly between the two but the service is the same from each) to anywhere in the world for $15. I mail all my items promptly and transit time is usually 1-2 weeks, but it can take 3 weeks or a bit longer if your customs service pulls it for examination - they are checking more international items nowadays because of the risk of terrorist bombs.
You will NEVER see another of these - I can pretty much guarantee that. I myself am staggered that it actually existed back then, but I have it to prove it. Even more remarkably, I have two components of the setup, bought over 15 years ago, and one has its original box.
It is an NOS tire pressure monitoring setup / puncture detector made by Michelin, and it comprises the parts that go on the dash of your car (a warning light for if the pressure drops and a gauge to show the pressures). I do not know when it was made, but the box art says 20s to 40s to me... I imagine there is some other hardware that goes on the tire to make it actually function, but I do not have that. However, I also do not care that I do not have that - I am all about either keeping accessories NOS in their boxes or fitting them to cars to make the car look \'dressed up\' - I never try to hook them up and make them work, and so I don\'t care if they don\'t. I suppose that if you were handy at DIY you could probably rig something up at the tire to make this function, but why would you care or want to? I imagine that if you have a classic car you take good care to check the tire pressures anyway, so this can just stand as what it is - ABSOLUTELY the coolest pair of dashboard add-ons for a 20s through 60s car that you will EVER see.
Please see my very detailed and enlargeable photos for condition information. If you are buying old stuff you want it to look old - right? If you want something with no patina you can buy a cheap Chinese repro off one of the many people on who are selling them. This has a bit of \'patina\' from long storage (please see detailed close-ups) but is in fantastic condition for a 60-90 year-old item, and the box is in pretty reasonable (though not perfect) shape too. This is the real deal, and IMHO it is the best.
As ever, the \'compatibility charts\' should be taken as a GUIDE ONLY - I have listed the cars I *think* the setup should fit, and to be honest I don\'t see why you shouldn\'t make it fit any car on the road, but I obviously have no way of viewing each specific vehicle, and this is a universal item! If in the event you find that the item does not fit your vehicle (or even that you just don\'t like it!) I will give you a full refund if you return it to a friend of mine with a US address (or to me if you live in Europe - whichever is cheaper!).
