Up for sale with is a Truly Amazing example of mid 18th Century Georgian Period English Sterling. This is a Rare Georgian Period Sterling Silver Sugar Bowl or Tea Caddy Jar Box. TheBowl is the finest example I have personally seen with the best Hand Chased Repousse Floral and Scroll designs with a Pineapple finial. TheBowl features amazing mid 18th Century form and is completely and finely hand made. The Jar Lid and Basealso have nice clear and legible Hallmarks for the fine Period Silversmith Henry Morris as seen in Jackson\'s Book of Silver Marks pg 172, London, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter \"O\" for 1749. The Bowl is in excellent condition with no dents, cracks or repairs other than the base which is a little off round but I am sure could be smoothed out very easily. The Bowl displays beautifully and would be a great size for serving Saucesor use as a Tea Caddymeasuring 5-3/4\" tall by 4-1/4\" wide overall. The Bowl is also nice thick Solid Sterling Silver throughout with a quality weight of365 grams.
