This is a superb Japanese porcelain plate with the hand painted decoration above and belowofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the edo period of the 18th century.

Dates c1790s.

Of a japanese origin.

Porcelain.

Plate with:

the hand painted decoration with it\'s strong blue colouring.

Decoration underneath with circular bands and a mark centrally.

It has an overall height of about 1.25inches.

It has an overall max overall max dia of about 7.75inches.

Base dia of about 5inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is very good and is subject to:

a chip to the rim of the top edge with no otherblemishes except a hairline centrally.

Besides being a very collectable, 18th century Edo period, Japanese porcelain plate with the hand decorationto the top with other decoration underneath, c1790s, would also look fabulous displayed.
