Youare offerding on a WONDERFUL 19c figuredamboyna veneered restored andrepolished jewellery box. Dates approximately 1860/1890.

InWONDERFUL restored condition.

FULLY LOCKS

Coupleof small nibble repairs and a couple of old nibble repairs just above keyholebut otherwise in good restored order. Displays lovely colour.

Wonderfulinlaid ebony, white metal and abalone shell to the top outer banding. Originalwhite metalcentral cartouche and keyhole escutcheon.

Displayswonderful colour. The pictures really do not do it justice.

The figured veneer is just superb.

Comprisinga wonderful interiorthat boasts a later wooden tray finished to a superb standard that compliments.This has been relined in expensive velvetmaterial of thehighest quality, the same as the bottompart of the interior of the box.

Allthe added dividers within the tray can easily be repositioned or removed ifdesired. The tray can hold many rings in an upright position.

Underneaththe additional tray and beneath the base of the box have also been lined invelvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.

A superb box, and would make afantastic gift.
